Mark Does Stuff Summer Tour 2013 IS HERE

Hello, friends and readers! It’s time for me to continue hanging out with some of you, being egregiously silly in public, and take the shenaniganry of Mark Does Stuff on the road, so LET’S GET TO IT.

Below are the dates on my fourth tour, which will be spread out over the summer months and TWO CONTINENTS. (Possibly three!) All links go to a Facebook page that will have time, address, venue, and other info. Please RSVP if you think you can attend, or RSVP in the comments below. This helps me and other book the right size venue! All events, unless noted, will be free, all-ages, and donation-only to attend!

8/8 – 8/11: LeakyCon London!

11:00am – 11:50am: Mark Reads Bad Fic, Cambria Room. PLEASE BRING BAD FIC.
4:00pm – 4:50pm: Cosplay Competition, Ampthill Room

9:00am – ?: Leaving Feast!
8/11: London! Non-LeakyCon event open to the public. The Victoria Pub, Paddington. 6pm – 9pm. Free, donations accepted, bring bad fic to read, and PARTY ON.
8/12: Paris, France. TBD
8/16: Amsterdam. TBD.
8/29 – 9/1: LoneStarCon and Hugos! Panel/appearance times TBA.
9/2: San Antonio, TX
9/10: Las Vegas, NV: UNLV Student Union, Room 213, 6:00pm. Harry Potter Alliance LV chapter!

I am specifically looking to book dates throughout July located in the western half of North America. I have not come up with a defined list like I usually do because I want to see where folks want me to come. I’m interested in returning to: Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Seattle, and Vancouver.

As long as events are open to other people attending them, I am willing to do anything! I’ve given lectures at universities, met with Nerdfighter and Harry Potter groups, done conventions, had HOUSE PARTIES (WHAT UP ANN ARBOR YOU’RE THE BEST), and held traditional readings at book stores, libraries, cafes, restaurants, etc. Feel free to suggest weird and creative things. I’ll show up.

I’M SO EXCITED. I know there aren’t many Europe dates, but it’s limited due to cost and the fact that my boyfriend is coming along with me, and I refuse to make any submit to my rigorous and exhausting touring style. It will be my first Europe trip, and we both would like some time to actually see London, Paris, and Amsterdam. I will return to Europe and do a more aggressive tour soon!
