‘Mark Reads Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ has been published!

OH, IT’S JUST SO WONDERFUL. I was really excited to get to the longer books in the Harry Potter series, so that’s why it took nearly two months to get this book written and edited. BUT IT IS HERE! And in FOUR different formats!

Digital Books

LOOK HOW AMAZING THIS COVER IS. You can thank the wonderful Jamie Herman for this one.

Mark Reads Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is only $3.99 for a PDF, Kindle, or ePub copy. WHAT HAVE I DONE?

  • It’s REALLY long. It’s the longest eBook I’ve published yet!
  • There are 70 chapters!
  • THIS CONTAINS ALL OF MARK RE-READS HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. So there are a whole new set of reviews NO ONE BUT MY EDITORS HAVE EVER READ. Party!!!
  • 69 footnotes, most of which are me yelling at myself for getting things wrong or missing clues.
  • SO MUCH SASSINESS YOU CAN’T EVEN HANDLE IT.
  • Possibly my favorite Mark/Kasper AIM chat?

But let’s say you’re not into digital books. THAT IS PERFECTLY FINE. For just $14.00, you can own a paperback edition of the same book, BUT YOU GET A DIFFERENT COVER.

AHHHHHH LOOK AT THAT. You can thank Hannah Ambruso for the paperback cover.

All proceeds of any of my booksales goes towards hosting and keeping Mark Does Stuff my full time JOB THINGY. I don’t know what else to cost it. I am hard at work on the second Doctor Who book, and then I’ll being writing the Order of the Phoenix book. OH GOD, TOO MANY FEELINGS ALREADY.

Thank you all for your support! This is so fun and rewarding, and I appreciate all your love and kind words.

WHOOPS I FUCKED UP. I don’t have a post today! ASK ME STUFF

Like, all I can say is this: I swear in my brain, I wrote five Sandman posts last week to go up this week, and then I got swamped/overwhelmed by Buffy and the billion emails while I was on the AIDS ride and all the Mark Reads videos I have to make and I literally just realized I only wrote FOUR posts for this week.

My bad, y’all.

I haven’t even begun next week’s posts (HELLO WEEKEND WORK), so I apologize for this. I totally screwed up. So, we’ll do the last four issues of volume 6 next week, then a prediction post on Friday. BY GODS I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN.

As the worst consolation prize ever, let’s turn this post into ASK PARTY 2012. I’m filling out the Master Calendar with all my next projects for both sites, and I’m updating the FAQ, so anything you’ve ever wanted to know ever will be answered. LET’S DO THIS.

Again, I am so sorry this slipped my brain. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Mark Tells Stories #3 – ‘1337’ is now out!

Hello everyone! I have just published another non-fiction short story on MarkDoesStuff.com. This one is a doozy. Not only is it the longest one to date, but I’d never written it down before this project started, so it has never existed in any form aside from a story I simply told people in person. OH GOD. If you’d like a clue as to what 1337 is about, allow me to share these tweets I made while on the Mark Does Stuff Tour earlier this year. (Read from the bottom to the top one.)

Yeah, so this is a good time, I swear. As always, a Kindle, ePub, or PDF copy of this story is only going to cost you $1.00. Really! This page contains all three of my short stories, which are all a dollar as well. AMAZING.

You can also now purchase a personalized Mark Reads video that the entire community will get to see. All of my previous videos are here, and today, I am reading a Harry Potter Choose Your Own Adventure and a book by Tyra Banks for this project. what have i done with my life.

The fourth Mark Reads Harry Potter book comes out in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS, followed by Mark Watches Doctor Who: Series Two. SO MUCH FUN STUFF IN THE FUTURE OH MY GOD. Thank you all for your support! I was able to afford our hosting bill today for the next month because of those who have purchased something from me today. Thank you all!!!
