Mark Reads ‘The Demon’s Covenant’: Part 3

Evil, you are all so fucking evil, I swear. I spent the last two days binge-reading this book so that I could make up for taking so long to get another post up for y’all. In the process, my heart was ruined.

There are a lot of videos below – seriously, there are twenty-seven of them – so expect this post to look super long. I’ve split them up by chapter and by part so that you can follow along!

OH GOD.

Suffice to say, I’m heartbroken. The end to this book is SO SAD. I’m surprised, though, that the second book in a trilogy wraps things up so while. Yes, it’s a cliffhanger of sorts, but it’s complete. We know so much more about this world and the motivations for all these characters, but that also doesn’t mean that I WILL WAIT FOREVER BEFORE STARTING THE NEXT BOOK. I need to know things. Like how Jaime is doing, and how Sin and Mae will deal with their new competition, and oh my god A WILLING HOST. I NEVER EVEN KNEW THAT COULD BE A THING.

After I finish this week’s reviews, I’ll be starting The Demon’s Surrender. Oh god, that title alone scares me. So expect another post in a few days! Until then, enjoy me experiencing endless heartbreak because of this book. Sarah Rees Brennan, you’re evil. EVIL.
