Mark Reads ‘The Shoebox Project’: Chapter 7, Parts 2/3

In the rush to launch my Portal reviews over on Mark Plays, I totally forgot about this post! Sorry about that. Here are two lovely videos up for discussion:

Part 2

Part 3

Can I just say that I have never had so much fun reading something aloud??? Like, if I was going to choose anything to read and discover on video, I’m glad it’s this. The dialogue the fic authors write is just unbelievable. Very natural, perfectly in character, and hilarious. Y’all, dialogue is like the hardest thing to write ever.

oh god I LOVE THIS FIC

Mark Reads ‘The Shoebox Project’: Chapter 7, Part 1

Okay, I THOUGHT THERE WAS ANOTHER PAGE TO CHAPTER SIX. Whoops! So the last brief letter is at the beginning of this video.

So, I’m totally fascinated by the glimpse behind the scenes of the Marauder’s Map. I guess I never thought about how it was made. Honestly, I would LOVE to research Hogwarts with Lupin in order to make an accurate map. Let’s be real, though. I JUST WANT TO HANG OUT WITH LUPIN.

Seriously SERIOUSLY THEY WERE SO CLOSE TO MAKING OUT, GAHHHHHH. I mean, I kind of feel like this fic might actually go there and have them do this? Or it might be about Lupin’s unrequited love of Sirius? I DON’T KNOW YET.

Also, I’m 100% sure this will be the longest fic I have ever read once I’m done with it. EXCITE.
