I’m so excited that I get to post my first Circle of Magic prediction, but then I’m also worried because how am I supposed to do this.
While I don’t think there are many (if any) fans of the Emelan books who weren’t here during my Tortall read, it helps to remind people of the rules surrounding prediction posts. Just in case!
Please remember that all spoiler rules still apply. Spoilers must be in rot13 at all times. THIS INCLUDES IF YOU ARE GOING TO QUOTE A PREDICTION OF MINE AND THEN REACT TO IT. Please rot13 everything in that case, so that I and others aren’t spoiled even in the slightest. Don’t “pretend” to have not read this series and post accurate spoilers. Do use the comments to cackle and NUNUNUN at my unpreparedness. If you’re not familiar, I will go over these predictions in the same post where I predict the next book!
So, let’s try this. Given the ending of Sandry’s Book, I imagine these will be pretty terrible.
Predictions for Tris’s Book
- We wil travel to another school/university of magic at some point!
- The group will try to go to the Summersea markets again.
- Daja will be forced to interact with a Trader at some point, and the experience will be negative.
- Sandry will be able to successfully use a loom without mistakes by the end of the novel.
- We will learn more about Niko’s backstory/history!
- We will also learn more about Moonstream.
- Rosethorn will get into a huge fight with Dedicate Crane.
- Briar will become friends with Dedicate Gorse.
- Tris will teach Briar how to read.
- There will be a central conflict that we’ll learn of early in the book.
- We will see one of the characters develop romantic feelings towards someone!
- Little Bear will be super cute the whole time.
- BACKSTORY OF LARK
- BACKSTORY OF ROSETHORN
- JUST GIVE ME MORE OF THE TWO OF THEM.
- I don’t know what else to do here, y’all.
- Frostpine and Daja will be great?
- She’ll learn to use a forge! THAT’S SOMETHING I CAN PREDICT.
- I don’t know, y’all, THIS IS REALLY DIFFICULT.
- So, this is Tris’s book, so it will mostly follow her? IDK??? She’ll progress in her training???
- I AM SCARED
I was utterly thrilled by Sandry’s Book, so I’m particularly excited to read more of this series. I’m surprised that the Emelan universe feels so different than Tortall, but that’s a good thing. I like that none of this is repetitive, and I’m eager to read more. Onwards I go!
