The success of the Mark Does Stuff eBooks got me thinking: why on earth am I sitting on all this non-review writing, waiting for something to come along? Over the years (and if you’ve been following me online for a while, this has been nearly a decade worth of time), I’ve been sharing lots of personal stories with random strangers. On top of that, I’m rather obsessed with the short story as a narrative form, so I’ve been writing fictional short stories for the last three years that nobody<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0has seen.<\/p>\n

I’ve decided that I love self-publishing so much, it’s time to begin releasing all of this to the world. I’m happy to announce that Mark Tells Stories is a new thing debuting today<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Mark Tells Stories<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0series will consist of bi-monthly short stories in all three file formats (ePub, Kindle, PDF) for only $1.00<\/strong>. I like inexpensive things and why should I charge anything more? I plan on doing non-fiction, biographical stuff, a lot of personal, autobiographical stories, and some of the fiction I’ve been working on over the years. I would love to give you the first chapter of my YA novel soon, too.<\/p>\n

It’s expensive to keep this site running, so I thought this would be a fun way to raise a little bit of money to ease the cost on my life. I’m excited to continue writing, and I hope you enjoy this first story. (There may be a few of you who read this MANY years ago, and it’s been drastically polished from its original form.)<\/p>\n
