The title of my sixth\u00c2\u00a0Young Wizards<\/em> book is very daunting. I AM SCARED.<\/p>\n

Before I venture forward, let’s revisit my predictions for the last book:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. I think we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see Ronan again. We have to! UNRESOLVED CHARACTER STORIES.\u00c2\u00a0WHERE IS RONAN.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The entire book will take place in the United States.\u00c2\u00a0Okay, counting the universe Kit created, I vote this as technically wrong.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. However, Nita and Kit will travel outside New York.\u00c2\u00a0The Jones Inlet does not count, does it?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. The Powers That Be will assign Dairine to the same task as Kit and Nita.\u00c2\u00a0Ah, this is wrong, too!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. The three of them will face an antagonist that is NOT the Lone Power.\u00c2\u00a0WHY HAVE I BEEN SO WRONG ALL THE TIME<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. (I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t care, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m running with this.)\u00c2\u00a0RUN AWAY, YOU’RE NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS ONE<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll meet a new wizard who lives near all of them!\u00c2\u00a0Okay, I still want this.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. AN UPDATE ON THE TREE CONFLICT. I TOTALLY WANT ONE.\u00c2\u00a0Also required at some point.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Tom and Carl will have a new pet. Not that Picchu is replaceable, of course, but Picchu is totally replaceable.\u00c2\u00a0I MISS PICCHU. I have a prediction about these two, though.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. So, what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the wizard\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dilemma? I think there will be a few.\u00c2\u00a0THERE TOTALLY WERE.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. However, that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not a fair prediction. Thus, I think that Nita will struggle with a choice that will have a positive affect on the world, but will fundamentally go against the laws that govern wizardry. Does she risk giving up being a wizard or does she save the world? That sort of thing.\u00c2\u00a0LOOK AT HOW FUCKING CLOSE I GOT. I love that I failed so hard at these predictions, then KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK AT THE END.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m probably wrong, aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t I?\u00c2\u00a0Like, 90% wrong, but THIS IS YOUR LIFE.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Okay, so.\u00c2\u00a0A Wizard Alone<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    Predictions for\u00c2\u00a0A Wizard Alone<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The title refers to Nita.<\/li>\n
    2. I think Nita’s mother will die in this book, thus leaving her “alone.”<\/li>\n
    3. The book will alternate between the POV of Kit, Dairine, and Nita.<\/li>\n
    4. Tom and Carl will play a much larger part in this book, supporting Nita.<\/li>\n
    5. So will Nita’s father.<\/li>\n
    6. Dairine’s powers will level out in this book.<\/li>\n
    7. Kit’s errantry will BE Nita. Or at least helping her.<\/li>\n
    8. I am going to be destroyed by this book.<\/li>\n
    9. The weird universe-creating place will be mentioned by Kit at least once.<\/li>\n
    10. WE WILL MEET A NEW WIZARD IN THIS BOOK.<\/li>\n
    11. The book takes place in the year following\u00c2\u00a0The Wizard’s Dilemma<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    12. It is NOT confined just to New York.<\/li>\n
    13. Ronan will be mentioned, but will not appear.<\/li>\n
    14. The struggle will ultimately be with the Lone One, but inside Nita this time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
