I’d like to think I’m somewhat prepared for this. We all know that’s not the case.<\/p>\n

First things first:<\/p>\n

  1. This will be a Daja book.\u00c2\u00a0Huzzah! And thus ends everything correct about this prediction post.<\/b><\/li>\n
  2. Frostpine will take Daja and Kirel to a part of Emelan that we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve not seen before.\u00c2\u00a0I had to go and add Kirel to this.\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. At some point, Daja will be forced to train\/mentor a new student as Briar and Sandry had to.\u00c2\u00a0Technically, this is wrong because she had to train TWO students. I am allowing myself\u00c2\u00a0nothing<\/i>.\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  4. However, Frostpine will be this kid\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new teacher, not Daja.\u00c2\u00a0I tried.\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  5. Daja will develop a crush on a boy at some point.\u00c2\u00a0And I failed. Though, to be fair to myself, romance\u00c2\u00a0has<\/i>\u00c2\u00a0been a part of Pierce’s novels before, so this wasn’t that absurd of a prediction.<\/b><\/li>\n
  6. She and Kirel will have an argument about jealousy during the book.\u00c2\u00a0Why? Why do I do this to myself?<\/b><\/li>\n
  7. Daja will save Frostpine\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s life, but only AFTER he has saved hers at some point in the story.\u00c2\u00a0GOD. I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT THE FIRST ONE.<\/b><\/li>\n
  8. There will be cold fire???\u00c2\u00a0I GUESS????? I MEAN, FIRE BURNS IN A COLD PLACE. Okay, I won’t count this one just to be cruel to myself.<\/b><\/li>\n
  9. I DON\u00e2\u20ac\u2122T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS???\u00c2\u00a0No, you absolutely fucking don’t.\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  10. Daja will interact with a Trader once in the novel.\u00c2\u00a0WHAT WAS I THINKING<\/b><\/li>\n
  11. I AM NOT READY.\u00c2\u00a0It\u00c2\u00a0still<\/i>\u00c2\u00a0hurts.\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    All right, so let me\u00c2\u00a0try<\/i>\u00c2\u00a0to be better at this.<\/p>\n

    1. This is a Tris book.<\/li>\n
    2. We’ll travel to a part of Emelan we haven’t seen.<\/li>\n
    3. Tris will have to train a student\u00c2\u00a0or<\/i>\u00c2\u00a0students after she discovers their magic.<\/li>\n
    4. She will fight a lot with Niko because let’s be real with ourselves, there’s no way that’s not happening.<\/li>\n
    5. I think she’ll also use her lightning against someone at least once in the book.<\/li>\n
    6. I think Tris’s main story in\u00c2\u00a0Shatterglass<\/i>\u00c2\u00a0will deal with her learning to be more patient.<\/li>\n
    7. We’ll get at least one new character who has a narrative point of view.<\/li>\n
    8. At one point, I will loudly exclaim how fucked up this book and series is.<\/li>\n
    9. I’m actually going to stop here because I can recognize that there’s a zero percent chance I’ll get anything right, so I don’t want a disaster of a prediction post.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      But let me be honest: this post is probably a disaster.<\/p>\n
