Hello, friends! As promised, I wasn’t going to go two million years without another update, and now my heart hurts. Because I read\u00c2\u00a0the thing<\/em>. Which… lord, y’all, I know it’s painful and devastating, but can I heap praise on Sarah Rees Brennan for a second? She had to write a trilogy to convey just how irreversible and terrible it is to be possessed, and we had to believe it enough to the point to understand\u00c2\u00a0why<\/em> the reveal at the end of chapter 13 is such a big deal. It’s why the events in chapter 6 are so scary as well.<\/p>\n I’m somewhat happy that I have to take another break due to next week’s LeakyCon in Portland (YOU SHOULD COME HANG OUT WITH ME<\/a>) because… fuck. This gutted me. This knocked the wind out of me. And I kind of don’t want to read the next chapter because it’ll be more of Sin crying, and I cannot deal with this. I can’t.
