Hello, friends! Next weekend, I’ll be hosting a panel at the 2013 Victory Tour, an online convention celebrating\u00c2\u00a0The Hunger Games<\/em>,\u00c2\u00a0Divergent<\/em>, and other oppression-oriented works of fiction. I would like to invite any\u00c2\u00a0Hunger Games<\/em> fans to register (for just $10!!!) to participate in a discussion of the book for my panel, “Mark Reads The Hunger Games.”<\/a><\/p>\n

I’ll be discussing what the experience was to launch Mark Reads with\u00c2\u00a0The Hunger Games<\/em>, as well as the process that made that project a reality. Of course, there will be a lot of Katpee\/Peenis talk, worship of Buttercup, and conversation around the series’ more serious themes. I’ll end my panel with a live reading of a\u00c2\u00a0Hunger Games<\/em> fic that I have\u00c2\u00a0not<\/em> ever seen before, re-creating the Mark Reads experience live.\u00c2\u00a0

It costs just $10 to access the entire convention, which includes my panel.\u00c2\u00a0The convention is Saturday, June 22nd.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>I will be speaking from 12:30 – 1:30pm Eastern time<\/strong>, which is\u00c2\u00a09:30 – 10:3oam on the West Coast<\/strong>. That also means international fans could catch this without having to stay up until\u00c2\u00a0the end of time<\/em>. Any questions you ask during the Q&A will be screened by moderators so BEHAVE YOURSELF.
