The time has come! In less than a week, I’ll be in Orlando, Florida (EW OH MY GOD IT’LL BE A BILLION DEGREES) for\u00c2\u00a0Ascendio 2012!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wanted to officially list my schedule for the entire event, as I have multiple panels, signings, and readings, and let y’all know where I’ll be next week.\u00c2\u00a0This will not affect reviews.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>They will still go up as planned, as they’re already done as of last night. So, let’s get to it!<\/p>\n

Thursday, July 12th<\/strong><\/p>\n

1:30pm-2:30pm, Michelangelo Room \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Authorpalooza with Mark Oshiro! <\/strong>This is a live-reading\/signing from yours truly. I’l have something special for y’all to read, and I’ll sign anything you bring me! Mark Reads books,\u00c2\u00a0HP<\/em> books, whatever!<\/p>\n

2:30pm-3:30pm, The Common Room \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Mark Does Stuff meet-up<\/strong>. This will be a much more informal hang-out with me, where we can discuss everything Mark Does Stuff! I’ll have a Q&A, will sign stuff, and will generally just be silly because\u00c2\u00a0WHY NOT<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Friday, July 13th<\/strong><\/p>\n

12:00pm-1:00pm, Venetian III \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Accio Books! How Digital Publishing Has Made Gatekeepers Of Us All.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>I’ll be on a panel with Lev Grossman, Cecilia Tan, Kaza Kingsley, and others discussing how digital publishing has changed the world for writers. If you’d like insight into how I learned to publish and how you can, too, you should show up! Also\u00c2\u00a0I AM ON A PANEL WITH LEV GROSSMAN WTF<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Saturday, July 14th<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>10:00am-11:00am, Tuscan IV \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Mark Reads Harry Potter.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>This will be an entire panel devoted to nothing but Mark Reads Harry Potter! I’ll have a surprise to open things with, a long Q&A session about the project, and I’ll share information about the last three MRHP books to come out in 2012!<\/p>\n

11:00am-12:30pm, Tuscan III \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Say Yes To Gay YA: LBGTQ and Diversity in YA Fiction.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>If you want to see me queer out about literature all over the place, come to this panel! We’ll talk about gay and queer characters in YA fiction, and what writers can do to be more inclusive as well.<\/p>\n

5:00pm-6:30pm, Tuscan III – Wands By Wands By Wizards<\/strong>. I can’t tell you what I’m doing in this\u00c2\u00a0Harry Potter<\/em>-themed revue\/comedy show. I just can’t. Show up, and it’ll be worth it.<\/p>\n

I’ll be tweeting from @MarkDoesStuff quite heavily through the convention, so follow me if you like! You can definitely expect lots of photos, maybe a video or two. I’ll put a post up after I get back to the Bay with a summary of how it was!<\/p>\n
