Mark Predicts ‘In the Hand of the Goddess’

OH MY GOSH, EVERYONE. It’s my first Song of the Lioness prediction post! THIS IS QUITE EXCITING!

So, it’s also very awesome that there are some new people around! Welcome to this lovely community. If you’ve never seen a prediction post of mine, never fear! Basically, I make predictions for the next book, all of you get to cackle at how wrong I am or shriek in terror at how unnaturally good I am at guessing things, and everyone has a good time. But I must warn you: DO NOT, IN ANY WAY, CONFIRM OR DENY ANYTHING THAT I PREDICT. All spoilers, even the slightest of hints, MUST be in rot13. Cyper yourselves before you wreck yourselves, please!

If you are also reading this series for the first time along with me, feel free to post your predictions, too! And do not think you are being crafty by pretending to be a first-time reader and posting your obviously-spoilery predictions. It happens all the time, and the mods will get you. DON’T DO IT.

Okay, so, let’s get to my predictions for the second Song of the Lioness book!

Mark’s Lovely Predictions for In the Hand of the Goddess

  • Jonathan and Alanna will get in trouble for sneaking out.
  • The Bazhir will be reluctantly excited about them ridding the Black City of the Nameless Ones.
  • The Bazhir will NOT move into the Black City, instead choosing to burn it to the ground.
  • Sir Myles will find out about Alanna’s secret.
  • One of the pages won’t survive the Ordeal. I’m guessing Raoul. 🙁 🙁 🙁
  • Jonathan and George will stop being friends. NOOOOO.
  • Alex will betray the Prince.
  • DUKE ROGER IS TOTALLY EVIL. I DON’T BELIEVE THE PRINCE. And we’ll find out in the next book.
  • Alanna will be in the hand of a goddess? wtf I DON’T KNOW WHAT THIS TITLE MEANS
  • Alanna will save Jonathan’s life by the end of the book.
  • We’ll find out why Jonathan is the Night-One.
  • Everyone else will remain friends? Please?
  • I will be wrong about 90% of this.

I mean that last one is basically destiny, right?

I start In the Hand of the Goddess on Tuesday, September 25th! YAY!
